Abstract
The complexity of vehicle systems and the multivarious and changing requirements, which involve many conflicts in the goals, result in considerable difficulties for optimisation of motor vehicles. In addition, the challenging competition on the global market calls for presentation of new products in short cycles. Therefore, a rapid and effective development has become a decisive factor for economic success.
