What’s available for downloading?
We offer individual technical papers presented at FISITA World Automotive Congresses from 1998 onward. We also offer papers from numerous international conferences and seminars organised by FISITA member societies, and other recognised research institutions.
All documents are in PDF format and can be read using the Adobe Acrobat Reader (available free). Online credit card payments are required to download documents, unless otherwise state.
How do I download a document?
STEP 1 - Find the document/s you want to purchase
Use the site's search feature to search by KEYWORD (such as subject, author name or company name); by EVENT (the conference where the paper was presented) or by CATEGORY (the subject area covered by the paper).
STEP 2 - Add the document to your basket
Click on the "Add to Basket" button in the lower right-hand section of the item description. Once you have added an item, you can continue shopping for other papers and / or bookstore items.
STEP 3 - Check out
Once you have selected all the items you would like to purchase, click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button on the "Your Basket" screen.
Provide your billing information and read and agree to the "Terms and Conditions" which govern the use of technical papers purchased from FISITA. You will be asked if you have a discount code. If you are a paid up member of FISITA, you can get a code entitling you to up to 20% discount on all documents you download (and selected bookstore items too). Contact your FISITA member coordinator to get your code or mail sales@fisita.com quoting your full name, your membership affiliation (Member Society, Affiliate Member, Strategic Partner or Corporate Member), your membership number (if applicable) and your postal / zip code we will supply you with a code.
You will be asked to confirm your order details on the next screen. Check them, and if they are OK press the "Proceed" button.
You will then be asked to make payment by credit card using our secure, encrypted payment system.
STEP 4 - Download your documents
Once your payment is accepted you will be given a link from which to download your document/s. Simply right-click on the link and select "save target as" to copy the file to your computer. Do not worry if your download is interrupted due to a problem with your internet connection. Simply click "back" and begin the download again.
If you have difficulty downloading your documents, check your browser configuration and make sure that you have cookies enabled (for details on this, consult your browser's Help feature). Also, make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed correctly.

Prices
All technical papers cost GBP 11.00 each (non member price) or GBP 8.80 each (FISITA member price)
Payment and returns
You must prepay by credit card before downloading documents. Documents that have been successfully downloaded cannot be returned for refund or credit. Your statutory rights are not affected.
File size
The file size of technical papers varies significantly depending on the number of graphics and illustrations. Some files are quite large.
Terms and conditions
All papers sold by FISITA are subject to copyright. Before downloading a FISITA document, you must agree to a license that grants you the rights to view and print the document for your personal use from one computer. You may not alter, in part or in whole, any document, nor may you make copies in any format (print or electronic) for distribution to other users or computers.
