Abstract

Recently, the CAE has become an indispensable technology for a rapid and reasonable development of a new car. The computational investigation, generally known as the CFD, concerning fluid and heat is essential, because those problems are directly related to the fundamental structure of a vehicle. Especially, since aerodynamics and engine cooling are the matters which are opposed to each other, a practical CFD method to evaluate quantitatively are required. This paper shows a new development system using advanced CFD techniques with good calculated precision.
