Abstract
Today's pace of development of technology, as well as the continuous growth of customers' demands and expectations concerning vehicles' specifications and performances, require new methods, equipment and, particularly, adequate knowledge which have to be applied in the process of modern vehicle maintenance and repair, in order to ensure the expected quality of service and consequently customer satisfaction. The creation of new methods of continuous education and training of not only service technicians, but also of trainers and others involved, is a must.
There are, from one side strong and significant links between the application of new technologies to modern vehicles, Quality of Service and Customer Satisfaction and, from the other side, the contribution of the adequate professional education and continuously Adaptable Service Training in ensuring their accomplishment in practice.
