Abstract

The paper deals with a non-conventional energetic unit equipped with a cooling combustion engine designed as an element for qualitatively new equipment to achieve a more efficient use of energy chemically bound in fuel of the combustion engine by transformation of heat into cold via thermocompression. The fundamental idea of the cooling combustion engine for means of transport is the original conception of synergy of up-to-now known thermodynamic processes occurring both in the combustion engine and in the absorptive cooler into one synergistic equipment as shown in the figure. Its basis is in the fact that the cooling jacket chambers serve simultaneously as a generator of the sorptive cooler.
