Abstract
Photographs have always been a decisive source of information for the reconstructionist. Due to technical progress, normal chemical photography will be completely replaced by digital photography in the near future. Parallel to this development, videos become a possible piece of evidence, e.g. monitoring cameras, police videos and videos taken by people involved in an accident. This paper shows how to get the most out of these sources of information and demonstrates the most effective working methods and tools for the reconstructionist.
