Abstract
Researching of thermal stresses on frictional surfaces which arise under thermal load presents a very complex task. In first part of this paper, based on exist literature notes, was shown whole complexity of theoretical researching of this problem and was present some of results obtained by solving complex mathematical equations.
Second part presents results of frictional disk testing on test stand, based on which valuation of thermal stresses is given. At the end, probability of thermal stresses researching by using nowadays program pack, like Pro/Engineer, were shown. It enables simulation of sliding process on friction discs and getting complete picture of thermal stresses level.
