Abstract
The constantly increasing demand for improved ride comfort and the increasing complexity of chassis, suspension and mount designs also require the continuous improvement of NVH analysis methods. Taking the Audi A4s four-link front suspension as an example, it will be shown that although the direct measurement of structural noise forces with piezo force transducers involves a certain amount of initial expense for the design and production of adapters, the quality and reliability of the results lead more quickly and more directly to an optimized solution.
