Abstract
Systems Engineering integrates different techniques used in the System Life Cycle to provide
Quality of Service for Customer Satisfaction. Virtual Reality is an advanced tool of Systems Engineering. It enables design engineers to see practical results of their work when applying different engineering methods in the design, calculation, simulation, tests and/or verification. A
Brake Virtual Prototyping Model based on the Systems Engineering Approach is developed here.
It integrates software and hardware with knowledge database, and enables design engineers to visualize response of the brake parts to load inputs following what-if scenarios similar to the cases gathered over years of test experience, that are contained in the knowledge database.
