Abstract
The present paper describes some special characteristics which must be considered in the case of tyre modeling on wet roads. In addition to the description of the theoretical basics of the tyre model TOMS some results are presented, which were determined both in experiment and in simulation. During the development of the tyre model one ensured that the use of the tyre model in vehicle dynamics simulations is possible. For this, the results of some simulation calculations with a MBS-Model (Multi-Body-System) are presented.
