Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present a Dual batteries system, in order to solve architecture problems under bonnet and to separate electrical power systems from others consumers. In a first time, a functional analysis allowed us to determine the electrical dual batteries architecture. Thus, we could define the specifications of the new batteries and of the batteries separation system. After new components electrical feature, we developed models to simulate the network behaviour. The system has to be tested on vehicle prototype to foresee electrical dynamic behaviour and to determine the time delay values and voltage levels. By adapting the simulation to the registered data on prototype vehicle, we are now able to predict a dual system on a new vehicle.
