Abstract
The increasing partnership between car manufacturers and automotive system equipment manufacturers pushes BERTRAND FAURE to propose a complete seat function, with its functional and safety criteria, as well as those including the comfort. This paper report concerns this last aspect and shows the tools held by BERTRAND FAURE to reduce conception lead time while improving the performance of the seat.
We present here the studies were performing in the field of comfort criteria estimation, dynamic analysis of seat frame, and design of experiments applied on seat suspension.
