Abstract
Comfort, health and environmental concern are major guidelines for automotive industry. Moreover, since several years, air quality awareness has become more and more prevalent in public opinion. This paper is due to present the general approach followed by Renault to deal with the problem of air quality inside the vehicles. The goal is to achieve a better understanding of the ins and outs of air quality in order to set an efficient plan of action. We will focus on the main solution to improve air quality that consists in the use of cabin filters set in the HVAC unit.
