Abstract

A method to construct a system for estimating economical or sporty driving intention and road environments such as urban roads, suburban roads, mountain roads and high-speed roads has been investigated. Analytically extracted feature variables and a nonlinear estimation by a neural network realized the estimation system with adequate response and accuracy.
