Abstract

The ideal situation for individual mobility is characterized by 1. Zero emission drive, 2. Car size following utilization and 3. Passive safety of small cars equal to that of medium size and luxury cars. For itemt 1 solutions are in discussion, for the items 2 and 3 solutions are presented in this paper with 4 innovative modules: VIVA, VOILÁ, DACAPO and MONDO. If the global production volume of cars will be doubled to 70 million per year, as planned, requirement 2 has to be fulfilled, because the area for individual cars’ disposal is limited in the populated countries. Although if in future dangerous situations will be foreseeable by advanced electronic systems, accidents will never be avoided for sure. Therefore requirement 3 has also to be fulfilled in future too. To maintain global individual mobility in a world with increasing population, the mentioned requirements 1-3 have to be realized by 2010 .
