Abstract
In vehicle development simulation methods gain ever increasing importance. The requirements towards lighter construction, increased comfort and greater reliability coupled with reduced development times demand sound testing techniques in the earliest possible stage of development. Some of the tools developed and used in the Technologie Zentrum Steyr (Engineering Centre Steyr) in the area of numerical simulation are presented here.
