Abstract
The water-borne paints and varnishes, comparatively with the solvent-borne, highsolids or solventless (powder) paints types, are presented. The new classification system is proposed.
Electroinsulating lacquers on water-soluble alkydo-phenolic resins basis for coil-coating of magnetic core-sheets for electrical devices and apparatus are studied. The interactions between some components used in the synthesis of the polyurethanic dispersions, acrylic dispersions and mixture are also studied. The properties and the advantages of the obtained products are presented.
