Abstract
In this report, we will use a powertrain plant as a model for presenting the following three subjects that include the just-in-time system that is undergoing evolution through the utilization of recent information technology:
(1)A just-in-time system that flexibly adapts to the market demand fluctuations and supports the production of the product and the procurement of parts
- A just-in-time system that utilizes information technology
(2)A system that can support the plant's manufacturing preparation at the time of model changes in Japan and overseas
- A database shared by production, plant engineering, and quality control
(3) SE activity for system construction
- Enhancing a project through a total link system chart
