Abstract
The Modal Test Consultant is a Visual Basic shell around the PULSE measurement system from B&K, only displaying modal test relevant parameters. The user is guided through the full measurement procedure with a graphical user interface similar to Microsoft Outlook, thus designed according to the newest standards from Microsoft. When measurements are completed all measurement and geometry data are exported to any modal package and ready for the curvefit procedure. The Test Consultant offers guided mounting of transducers and guided measurement by means of geometrical model etc. The Modal Test Consultant cuts the setup and test time to a minimum.
