Abstract
It is well known that inductor is the most important equipment for inductive heat treatment. The shape and size of inductor will influence the quality, production rate and energy cost of inductive hardening directly. This paper takes the auto- parts cam shaft, rear axle, crankshaft, armature axle, pin, brake cam, take-in valve, exhaust valve, ball-headed pin as examples, analysing the relations among the factors of quality, efficiency and the structure of inductor. This paper also introduces the inductor design and adjustment in brief.
