Abstract
In a spark ignition engine, the turbulent flow plays an important role in determining its engine characteristics and performance. And the characteristics of turbulent flow would be important to the stability of combustion and performances, this study is also essential to future engine; low emission and lean burn engine. In addition to the turbulent flow is affected by the inlet flow velocity, piston speed, squish velocity, etc. This paper reviews the features of turbulent flow characteristics by various parameters.
