Abstract
A Radio-controlled multi-loader truck used in an iron foundry was developed for purposes of reducing operator's working load and number of operators being engaged in the task of lading a bucket on the truck and unlading it. The operator can remote-control actuators for functions necessary for driving the vehicle, such as starting, accelerating and braking the vehicle, gear-shifting, and steering, and also for lading and unlading the bucket, via a manipulator. An enhanced fail-safe function is included in the system to ensure an operational safety.
