Abstract
This paper concerns with the methodology for controlling an automatic brake-locking system. It describes the implementation of gain-scheduling control strategy to the system. In this work, the timing to release the brake-locking system is controlled based on a tuning-parameter obtained either from modeling or experimental processes. The performance of the control strategy was evaluated by an experimental on-road test.
