Abstract

Electric vehicles will play an increasingly bigger role on our roads in future as they do not cause any emissions and because they are extremely noiseless. In addition they contribute to reduce the vehicle emissions and to save energy. Therefore electric vehicles should be developed further. Certain requirements, however, have to be fulfilled such as minimum range, load or performance. These factors determine size and type of the battery as well as the charging method. The POST favours the zinc-air-energy-system because it fulfills its particular requirements. This speech will deliver information about this innovative energy system as well as test results.
