Abstract

The cavitation phenomena generating in fuel injection of diesel engines causes the erosion in the system. It is significant for designers to construct the model of the phenomena in order to avoid destruction of phenomena. The experiments presented here carried out by the experimental apparatus for detection of the history of pressure and that of power spectrum density of the high frequency component of the pressure in an injection pipe connected with an in - line fuel injection pump. And the mechanism of cavitation phenomena was discussed by both experimental data and numerical analysis in order to get the information on the modeling of phenomena.
