Abstract
In recent years, safety for Heavy Duty Vehicles has been improved consciously. But mostly measures are active safety, we really think that it needs to improve passive safety for commercial vehicles. In this study, we tries to analyze heavy duty vehicles' Barrier crash dynamics using by numerical analysis at macro view. We used simple model with spring-damper combination almost same as passenger cars' application. The result of this study, we are able to analyze Barrier crashing dynamics for heavy duty trucks, and are able to get the result of another conditions (Gross Vehicle Mass, initial impact speed and so on).
