Abstract

Improvements aimed at bettering the performance of the engine by reducing their energy comsumption. Revolutions per minute were patently lowered. Substantial reduction was achieved in the emissions of pollutants as well as heat generation in the power unit. This also allows reduction of cylinder capacity of the combustion engine. All of these improvements are based in the engine assembly with electrically powered compressor.

An interesting way to reduce consumption is through a novel electric aplication in a standar vehicle. The electric integration proposed is an applied system to the combustion engine intake. The electric system will be sufficient to compress and cool the intake mix, so that we achieve our objectives: the pressure and cold. This is to obtain differents digrees of perfomance optimization. This allows use electric energy from recharging, or from thermoelectric recovery generator in combustion vehicles reducing the use of the alternator.

If we use the compressor and cooler fully consuming one hundred per cent of usuable electric energy, we will spend very litlle fuel in a combustion engine. This type of use is very recommendable in the city at the same time that this system is a mode of use that allows auto-recharging on long distances. We are developing of alternative electric generators. Likewise, we suppose that the expense of fuel is inverse to the electric consumption for the ACACEA System.

The difference between this and the base model lies on the different activation of the compressor which, being mechanically driven by the motor crankshaft, is then driven by a variable power electric motor.
