Abstract

The aim of fitting different automatic control systems to the temporary vehicles is to ensure enhanced safety and comfort during the vehicle motion. The paper presents the results of application of one of them, that is antilocking device ABS, traction control ASR, active suspension AS and four wheel steering 4WS. Having in mind automatic control systems being applicated in a vehicle some questions how to integrate them seemed to be the important problem. But to describe the possibilities of integration of these systems it is necessary to know primarily the results of simultaneous action some of them and also the influence of this action on a vehicle motion. The paper deals with some examples of simultaneous action of ABS and AS, ABS and 4WS or ASR and 4WS.
