Abstract
The paper explains how a programme of shared responsibility between the Supplier (in this case The Creative Group) and the Client (NISSAN VEHICULOS INDUSTRIALES, S. A.) has resulted in a highly successful Body-in-White programme; a programme which was achieved on time and with astonishingly low modifications levels.
The paper will explain how, using shared responsibility project teams, the manufacturing organisations of each became fully integrated within the NIVISA programme organisation, and how this has led significantly reduced tooling investment whilst simultaneously maintaining high levels of quality.
The paper outlines the principal working relationship between Creative and NIVISA and how the principle of risk management was developed and shared to mutual benefit.
