Abstract
NIVISA (NISSAN Vehículos Industriales S.A) is the Company of the NISSAN Group in EUROPE , devoted to the Design and the Manufacturing of light and medium commercial vehicles, from 2,8 to 15 TM. G.V.W.
NIVISA has been confronted to the necessity of renew its commercial vehicle ranges. Two projects were proposed in order to change the cabs in the truck models. NIVISA has a limited
Design and Development capacity to develop both projects considering that these two projects had to be made simultaneously .
The development process of the Design and Project of the cab requires four basic technologies ; Styling ,Engineering simulation , Design , and Industrial Development.
LYPSA (LINEA Y PROYECTO S.A.) was in charge of the Styling and Design , SENER of the Engineering Simulation and C.M.S. (CREATIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM) of the Industrial Development.
The activities of direction , control , coordination , information contents , planning , information flow and how to do , which are clearly defined and structured in a big organization , must be discussed and applied in a flexible form , adapted to the idiosyncrasy of the three companies in order to achieve the challenges of the cab Project.
The form how have been done the previously indicated activities and solved the interrelated problems , language difficulties and different experiences are the object of this paper.
