Abstract
It is very well known the need for evaluating and validating the reliability and durability of the new products before launching. All tests performed are orientated to assure the users satisfaction. One of the most determining structural tests is the Vertical Fatigue Testing. This paper intends to show the practical procedure followed during the execution and validation of a new truck cab model (for the TK project, trucks from 3.5 to 15 ton), using only vertical load by means of a Tire Coupled Simulator.
