Abstract
With electronic control various requirements to CVT's can be fulfilled simultaneously:excellent performance and reduced fuel consumption can be realized by optimized software. The necessary flexibility can be reached by object orientated modules. For cost effective solutions, the ECU, hydraulic components and sensors should be integrated in a electro-hydraulic module. Simultaneous development from the very beginning of a transmission layout is essential.
