Abstract
Dry hybrid belt CVT (hereinafter referred as A-CVT) is a hybrid CVT which has fixed ratio with a 2way free running clutch for starting and has a dry hybrid belt and pulleys and a DC motor for changing ratio. The fuel consumption of the prototype vehicle equipped with A-CVT was improved 6?10% compared to a 5 speed manual transmission. In order to achieve the above result, The system has eliminated hydraulic mechanisms and employed the elements electronic controlled in pursuit of high efficiency transmission and continuous using optimum fuel consumption zone of an engine.
