Abstract
Spinal cord trauma represent a severe injury that occurs mainly at young adults. In our paper we present the classification, diagnoses and management issues in spinal cord trauma caused by car accident. We underline the main aspects of prehospital and hospital care. We also discuss the evolution and prognosis criteria.
