Abstract
The paper develops an application of oil stain method for the truck rear axle housings with strengthening ribs. Through this representation, an important decrease of stiffness matrix bandwidth will be achieved for large and complex shape structure. This reduced matrix used with the Finite Element Method will lead to less RAM and CPU time in computing.
