Abstract
This paper describes the contribution of the computer analysis to the vehicle passive safety of the car occupants.
The main part of this paper will focus on the analysis parts of the inside and outside parts of the cars, special on the frontal part. Most of the current used automotive parts are designed for the safety optimization. The challenge for the future is to develop mathematical models that offer a more realistic description of the parts than current crash testing.
