Abstract

The actual tendency for eliminating the leaded gasoline from the market is obviously and imminent, being dictated by the international lows regarding the chemical pollution of the environment. In this condition, the owners of the classics automotive, without catalytic converter, designated and calibrated for working with leaded gasoline, will have to run with leaded gasoline. Moreover, it come out also the tendency of price, the unleaded gasoline being, generally, chipper than leaded gasoline. However, is this generalization of using unleaded gasoline welcome? About this phenomena, generator of multiple controversies and dilemmas, it has been written a lot in the latest years. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain the transition phenomena to «unauthorized» usage of unleaded gasoline, as implications, truths and untruths, priorities and perspectives, in correct words, as much as possible.
