Abstract
In the technical applications inclusive in the automotive industry there exist components made by composite materials. These materials presents many properties that recommend to be used in the manufacturing of the pieces of a mechanism or in a structure. The problem is to determine the mechanical properties of such a material considering the know properties of the component materials. In the paper we try to present the way to compute these properties.
