Abstract
Neurotrauma has multiple medico-legal implications, that are frequently met. As the traffic explode, the head trauma became more and more actual and gained more neurological and neurosurgical attention. In this paper we emphasis the mechanisms involved in head trauma: direct mechanisms with linear acceleration, deceleration, rotative acceleration, bilateral compression and indirect mechanisms. Also we discus the traumatic effects, the seriousness of head trauma.
