Abstract
For the purpose of determining some possible improvement solutions of naval Diesel engines running in transitory regimes, it is convenient and efficient to use digital simulation. This work presents the proposed mathe-matical patterns and the results obtained. It is remarkable the resemblance between these results and data experimentally determined for the reference engine.
