Abstract
A commonly used approach in practical cases for solving decision-making problems is the decision trees method. The paper proposes an original algorithm for solving decision trees what makes the method simpler to deal with and even suitable for computer approaches. The vector method introduced in this paper is applied to the deci-sion- making process involved in the developing management of an auto shop. The easiness in applying the method for the concrete problem examined leads to encouraging conclusions about extending its use.
