Abstract

In order to satisfy the legislation restrictions for year 2000 DI Diesel engines should work at high efficiency and very low chemical and noise pollution. These demands can be satisfied if one can control and optimise mixture forming and combustion processes. There are a multitude of ways that one can follow up for improving mixture forming and combustion parameters. This paper shall deal with the followings: acoustical supercharge, mixture forming processes and after burn treatment of scavenged gas. Experimental data collected during the research, developed on theoretical and real model, were used in the initiated programs for improving the energetic and ecological parameters for several prototypes of DI

Diesel engines.
