Abstract

Organised movements of air in a direct injection cylinder were studied by a series of authors, in both ways, theoretical and practicalon ravious models and engines. A direct measuring method on a “warm” is inpossible because of the technical dificulties abnd the overlaping of the stages in forming the fuel mixture and burning. This leads to a indecision regarding the intensity of this movements and the correlation between this organised movements and the engine performances. In this paper the authors are developping an indirect testing method to verify the existence of the air movements varing the geometry of the spraying devices.
