Abstract
The paper aims to present some vehicle-related displays and control elements used nowadays in motor vehicle manufacturing. Aspects concerning their properties, advantages and in case of the LCD the spectral characterization will be underlined with the purpose of giving an overall view. The chose of one or the other depends on the designer and the competition will set out the right configuration.
