Abstract
In this paper we will show that by the utilisation of the curved followers is assured the good function of the cam-follower ensemble, which conduce to the obtaining of cam profiles with enlarged curvature radius in comparison with the used cams for flat followers. For choosing the follower profile radius it can appeal to the approximate relations deduced in this paper. The results are very interesting for the oscillatory followers, when cam becomes in general lop-sided.
