Abstract
The exhaust emission for a SI engine with carburetor is over limits of actual standards. The main problem is maintaining the stoichiometric A/F ratio during the engine running. Using a closed loop system for the control of a by-pass air valve was achieved excellent results, which fulfill the EU2 exhaust emission limits.
