Abstract
The paper proposes an active control model of automotive suspension based on fuzzy concepts. Fuzzy changing of the dumping coefficient is done function of the environment parameters (roughness, waviness of the road and the steering wheel angle). The rule base designing provides the safety (with priority) and the comfort of the vehicle. The simulated results in conditions of vehicle parameters changing (the stiffness and the dumping coefficient of the tyre, vehicle mass, so) in comparison with classical and CRONE suspension are promising. These allow beginning practical experiments with systems based on micro controllers.
