Abstract
The paper proposes as one of the parameters for CI engines diagnostics the frequency spectra of crankshaft angular speed.
The paper includes some theoretical aspects regarding the data processing using the frequency analzsis as well as the experimental results of the test performed on a CI engine from Saviem family
