Abstract
A traffic control scheme giving consideration to the speed of vehicles in traffic flow. The two-loop detector installation gives two pulses as each vehicle passes trough the detection zone. The pulses are used to calculate the speed of the vehicle.
This measuring technique can be incorporate easily into a traffic control system to improve control efficiency.
