Abstract
One of the methods used for increasing the durability of mechanical transmission elements is utilization of oils with adequate qualities for specific running stages, that provides superior performances of fiability for transmissions.
The paper presents the results of the experiments made by the authors in order to adopt an oil with superior antifriction qualities for the gearbox of DACIA 1310 motorcar.
